WRITERS HATE WRITING.

Have you ever been around writers?

I have, and trust me, most you’d hear is how much they complain about the act of writing.

But isn’t that their job?

If you started your reading journey on wattpad, you’d remember the wattpad days when writers updated their books weekly. Two out of five times, these writers did not drop the chapters on the agreed dates because they couldn’t for whatever reasons do the one job of WRITING!

Think about it, why start an overbearingly interesting book and boom, you no longer can write fast enough? you chose to take more time? Make us wait longer for the goodness of escapism?

I’m a writer too and do I do these things?

A question I would’ve loved to answer but this is not about me.

I’ve chosen an exquisite writer to take the spotlight and tell us all the intricacies behind putting out written works, so here goes everything;

Q1: Sometimes I call you Stanley other times Buchi, but i’d like for you to introduce yourself properly to my audience.

Reply: I’d prefer to be called Chiwetalugo Mmaduabuchi Okeke. Chiwetalugo is a self given name that feels more like me than the rest.

Q2: I’ve seen your writing ethics and it’s giving consistency, but I want to hear from you, do you always meet up with deadlines?

Reply: No, I do not always meet up with deadlines, basically it’s all seasonal, my consistency and inconsistency are all seasonal.

Q3: There was this day you came to me with an issue of your work glitching on your system, that’s the tip of all the issues with writing. On the scale of 1–10, how frustrating is the act of writing for you?

Reply: The frustration in writing for me is not knowing what to write about or knowing but can’t properly get in words/events that will give the results I seek.

Q4: How do you write?

On paper, on phone, on your pc, or one before the other?

Reply: I write on anything. Paper, phone, PC but paper feels more personal and intriguing to me.

Me In My Head: Does that mean he actually writes on paper and still types stuff out?! Wow! Where’s the medal?!! HAND HIM THE MEDAL!

Q5: You’re an Amazon published author, yes?

Coupled with the published works on Amazon, can you count how many written works you’ve put out?

Reply: I have about eight works out.

Q6: You have other hobbies asides writing, How do you balance out your time for other things considering how time consuming writing is?

Reply: Honestly, I find enough time whenever I’m having a block.

Me In My Head: Enough time sounds like a lot of time, creative block must be the most intrusive feeling in the history of creativity.

Q7: How many WIP’s do you have in works now?

Q8: Cool

Do we get to know when you plan your next publish?

Reply: Honestly, I wish I could say exactly but this year, will be a great year is all I can say😂.

Did you really think writers hated writing?

Of course not, I mean, yes there’s hecticness in the act of writing, but then what is creativity without activity?

Exactly, Nothing.

For writers, the stress of writing is the thrill of writing.

The End.
