The drip market is filled with more fakes than original designers.
Why do people buy fakes?
Can’t they see it’s fake?
Well, here’s the thing; First, They don’t know.
Second, if you didn’t know what an original looked like, then how do you even begin to identify a fake?
So here’s a thought; how about starting it all from scratch, imagine pulling together the commonly mismatched brand logos we see on a daily and breaking them down.
Here goes everything👇🏽
FILA: This sportswear brand was founded in Italy, 1911 by Ettore and Giansevero Fila. They make Athletic shoes, clothings, sport equipment’s and accessories. The current Fila logo is made up of straight and curved stripes. “I” looks like a vertical, rounded rectangle, “L” and “A” have merged into one shape and if its shape can still guess “L,” then “A” looks more like an open triangle than a letter.

FENDI: Fendi is a luxury brand, famous for its double “F” logo. The Fendi brand has also been successfully running for more than a century, which is impressive.

NIKE: Is an American brand that produces footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services, it is also the world’s largest athletic shoe supplier. Nike was founded by Phil knight and his coach Bill Bowerman in 1964. The logo is derived from the wing of Greek mythical goddess of victory which symbolizes speed, motivation and power.

VERSACE: Is an Italian luxury brand that produces Haute couture and Ready-To-Wear (RTW) outfits and accessories. The brand’s logo is inspired by the mythical Greek goddess, Medusa, being that the founder Gianni Versace was a native of Calabria, Ancient Greece.

YVES SAINT LAURENT: Also known as YSL or Saint Laurent, is a French Luxury brand that deals in Ready-To-Wear (RTW), Haute Couture, leather accessories, footwear and cosmetics. Their logo was designed by French graphic designer Cassandre (birth name; Jean Marie Mouron).

BALENCIAGA: Balenciaga is a luxury fashion brand founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga in San Sebastián, Spain. They produce Ready-To-Wear, footwear, handbags, accessories and more.
The first logo for Balenciaga was composed of two bold uppercase letter B’s staged back to back and stitched by three lines.
The second logotype font was changed to Sweet Sans Medium Small Caps (2013–2017) and finally from 2017 till date, the type space was reduced and the lines made bolder. For the emblem, one with two B’s that are directly back to back without the three line stitch have also been spotted.

CHRISTIAN DIOR: Dior was founded by Christian Dior 75 years ago and presently controlled and chaired by Bernard Arnault, head of LVMH. The French brand products include luxury clothing and accessories, scents, cosmetics and wine. The brand logo is the name of the founder in black and white Nicholas Cochin font.
